More than 200,000 children and youth visited the Denver Art Museum in 2017. Thanks to Scott Reiman and the Reiman Foundation as well as Bellco Credit Union, the Free for Kids program allows all Colorado youth access to the world of art.
With the North Building under renovation, the museum is open every day of the week now and large numbers of school groups and youth programs are planning to tour educational exhibitions like Degas: A Passion for Perfection; Past the Tangled Present; and more.
Check out the video from kindergartners and first graders from Sts. Peter and Paul School in Wheat Ridge who shared their experiences from a recent visit.
Scott Reiman has been a longtime and valued member of the Denver Art Museum community. He has made the Free for Kids program possible and has served as a Denver Art Museum trustee. The Reiman Bridge that connects the Denver Art Museum’s Hamilton Building and North Building is named after him.
