Established in 1978, the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation stands as the primary fundraising arm of Children’s Hospital Colorado. The organization engages with the community, raising awareness of the hospital’s goals and successes in addition to managing financial donations to the hospital.
The Reiman Foundation is a longtime supporter of the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation. In 2006, Scott Reiman chaired the annual Children’s Gala fundraiser and saw firsthand how critically important the work of this organization is.
Held annually for more than three decades, the Children’s Gala has raised more than $30 million in support of Children’s Hospital Colorado. The black-tie event draws a plethora of community leaders, generous benefactors and celebrities. In 2013, the Gala welcomed 1,400 guests, drawing $1.8 million in donations.
The 37th annual Children’s Gala will take place on Saturday, September 27th at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at the Colorado Convention Center. The evening will begin at 5:30 PM with a silent auction, during which guests can also enjoy cocktails. Dinner will be served at 7:30 PM, followed by the Gala’s main programming and live auction. The night’s entertainment will commence at 9 PM, and will feature Grammy-nominated rock band Barenaked Ladies.
